This kitchen remodel in El Cajon’s Fletcher Hills neighborhood transformed an outdated layout into a bright, open space that reflects the home’s Mediterranean transitional style. The renovation began with removing a dividing wall to improve flow and create a more functional kitchen layout. The original green cabinets were replaced with custom alder cabinetry, bringing warmth, natural texture, and timeless craftsmanship to the space. A former microwave cabinet was redesigned into a custom Venetian plaster range hood, now the stunning centerpiece of the kitchen. Paired with a decorative tile backsplash, quartz countertops, and stainless steel appliances, this El Cajon kitchen renovation blends Mediterranean character with modern functionality.
